After blackpowder season we turn our attention to upland bird hunting. This is no "Easter Egg" hunt with the dog knowing from past experience exactly where the next bird will be. Every hunter has been very excited about the upland hunting they enjoyed here. The prices above are for a long half day. The average bag last year for a mixed hunt for two was about 30 quail, 5 or 6 chukar, and 3 or 4 pheasant. A quail hunt for 4 will see as many as 60 quail rise. Prices include dogs and guide. Click here for more information on upland hunting.

Turkey hunting at White Oaks is looking very good for the 2008 - 2009 season. The hens have had a great year and we are seeing young turkeys everywhere. Competition for hens next spring means that the big toms will be more interested in the call than they have been the last couple of years. Click here for more information on turkey hunting at White Oaks.
