Summer season is from the end of turkey season in mid May till the first of October. The deer drop their fawns, hen turkeys and quail lay and raise their clutches, the gardens and fruit trees bloom and bear fruit, and the wildlife food plots are groomed and replanted for next year. It is a beautiful time of year here. 

The woods are shady and cool, with miles of trails. Wildflowers and wildlife abound, and are easy to find and observe. The fishing ponds wake up and team with life. Bull frogs and cicadas chorus at night.

Enjoy the shooting ranges, sporting clays, fishing in the stocked ponds, the large heated swimming pool, and then star gazing where city lights don't wash out the sky. Go kayaking, canoeing, tubing, water skiing, sailing, and charter fishing on adjacent Kerr Lake. Local towns provide great antique hunting. The "off" season at White Oaks offers plenty of fun and relaxation.

The above rates include exclusive use of all preserve facilities and recreational equipment.  Charter fishing, lake water sports, and sailing with instructor can be arranged.
